MedPrax Report + MedPrax Capture
Terms of Service
Effective 29 August 2026
MedPrax is a clinical documentation and workflow service. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, replace professional judgement, or guarantee that a report is clinically complete. A qualified clinician must review every report before signing or sharing it.
1. The service
These Terms govern MedPrax Report and MedPrax Capture (together, the “Services”). Capture can collect media against a case and send it to Report, where an authorised user can review, document, sign, export and share a report. Features may vary by device, plan and configuration.
2. Who may use it
You must be a qualified healthcare professional, authorised clinical staff member, or another person lawfully permitted to handle the information you enter. You are responsible for verifying patient identity, obtaining any required authority or consent, and using the Services in accordance with professional, institutional and legal requirements.
3. One MedPrax Account
The same authenticated MedPrax Account is used across both products. Keep credentials and signed-in devices secure, do not share accounts, and tell us promptly at support@medprax.in if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach.
4. Clinical responsibility
- Confirm that every capture is attached to the correct case before reporting.
- Review and, where necessary, correct templates, dictated text, suggested terminology, image labels and completeness prompts.
- Do not rely on MedPrax as an emergency system, primary image archive, diagnostic device, or substitute for records your law or institution requires you to retain elsewhere.
- Use exports and integrations only after validating them for the receiving system and intended workflow.
5. Plans and payment
The Free plan currently includes up to five generated reports and ten Capture App uploads per calendar month. Essential costs ₹999 or US$19 for 30 days of access and includes up to 50 generated reports and 100 Capture App uploads per calendar month. Professional costs ₹2,499 or US$49 for 30 days of access and includes unlimited reports and Capture App uploads, the complete review workflow for follow-ups and amendments, and flexible PDF layouts. Paid plans are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. If paid access is already active, another successful purchase extends the existing expiry by 30 days. The checkout shows the selected plan, currency and final amount before payment; available payment methods depend on the selected currency, payment provider and payer eligibility. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Your content
You retain your rights in the clinical and account content you submit. You give MedPrax the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, display, transmit and generate documents from that content to operate, secure and support the Services. You remain responsible for its accuracy, legality and authorised disclosure.
7. Acceptable use
Do not access another user’s data, bypass usage or security controls, upload malware or unlawful material, probe production systems without written authorisation, resell access without agreement, or use the Services to create misleading or fraudulent clinical records.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Services available, but no uptime or response-time commitment applies unless agreed separately in writing. Maintenance, network, device, browser, payment-provider or third-party outages may interrupt access. We may change the Services or limits, and will provide reasonable notice before a material adverse plan change where practicable.
9. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict access to protect patients, users or the Services, address suspected abuse, comply with law, or respond to non-payment. You may stop using the Services at any time. Contact support for an account or data request. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, billing, backup or clinical-record obligations.
10. Privacy and confidentiality
Our Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. Each party must protect confidential information it receives and use it only for the Services or as required by law.
11. Third-party services
Authentication, hosting, storage, database, email and payment functions depend on third-party providers. Their own terms may apply to their portion of the service. MedPrax is not responsible for a third party’s independent services, but remains responsible for its own obligations.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Except for rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Services are provided “as available” without a guarantee that they will meet every clinical, regulatory, interoperability or institutional requirement. To the extent permitted by law, MedPrax is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by applicable law in India, without removing any mandatory consumer right. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Before filing a claim, contact support@medprax.in so we can try to resolve it.
